Job Description:

Company is one of the largest publicly traded partnerships and a leading North American provider of midstream energy services to producers and consumers of natural gas, natural gas liquids ("NGLs"), crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals. Our services include: natural gas gathering, treating, processing, transportation and storage; NGL transportation, fractionation, storage and import and export terminals; crude oil gathering, transportation, storage and terminals; petrochemical and refined products transportation, storage and terminals; and a marine transportation business that operates primarily on the United States inland and Intracoastal Waterway systems.

Contract Administrative Assistant: Grand Cane, Louisiana Office Location. 3 to 4 months of contract work with potential for being extened.
Developing and assisting in the preparation of annual expense and capital budgets and managing monthly budget reports.
Finding efficient, professional, cost effective methods of assisting Manager in day-to-day activities.
Professional attitude and handling of inquiries, both verbally and in writing.
Accuracy, excellent communication skills and attention to detail is imperative.
Procure office supplies; maintain files, document meetings, and manage travel arrangements.
Financial and accounting duties such as: purchase requisitions and purchase orders, manage accounts payable, invoice processing, project set-up in tracking software; monthly expense and capital data entry; and timesheet and payroll management.
Online management of expense reports and invoices.
Other duties such as: answering phone, mail distribution, and office equipment management.
Maintaining knowledge of available resources to facilitate information flow for audits and general inquiries.
Performing duties safely and in compliance with all company, federal, state, and local regulations.
Maintaining proficiency in job functions and applicable software programs.
Performing other related tasks as requested or assigned.

Job Requirements: The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook are required. Microsoft Access is preferred.
A minimum of 2 years experience working in a support and/or administrative assistant role is preferred.
Proven experience typing and proofreading company related documents.
Ability to interact with co-workers in a business like and professional manner, both verbally and in writing.
The ability to juggle competing priorities, multi-task and change direction in a variety of workplace situations.
Previous experience in the energy industry is preferred.
Proven ability to respond as needed to internal and external customer requests in a timely manner.

This contract assignment has no (PTO) paid time off (this includes no paid holiday and paid vacation). Contractors can request for time off and take time off but please understand it's not paid time off. If this is not a good fit, please do not apply .

The following benefits are available with the contract assignment:
-Company sponsored 401(k) non matching.
-Minimal essential health coverage paid by Abrams Technical Services, Inc. in full but only to the Contractor.
Pay: $12 - $15.50 per hour
M - F 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Must pass a background check and drug screen
