Job Description Location: Nashville Terminal Visco TN Job Req ID: 14974 Join our amazing team and contribute as a: Terminal Operator ABOUT THE ROLE \n The Terminal Operator safely operates all equipment at the location used to load and unload rail cars, boats and/or trucks, ensuring order accuracy and expeditious processing of requests. WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH \n \n Terminal Operators need the ability to communicate with Terminal Managers, customers, sales personnel, trucking firms and suppliers. \n Maintain grounds, offices, warehouse, yard, etc. \n Carry out tasks related to loading/unloading material, both bulk and bagged, waterway and road methods of transportation, as appropriate for the specific location. \n Operate and conduct general maintenance on mobile equipment and assist with general mechanical maintenance. \n Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies \n Other duties as assigned. \n \n WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Education: High school diploma or equivalent Required Work Experience: 1-3 years Required Technical Skills: Basic Knowledge about computers, Microsoft programs, and SAP preferred. Additional Requirements: \n \n High Mechanical aptitude and ability. \n Physical ability to work at heights, confined-enclosed areas, and perform unloading functions. \n Must be able to complete paperwork \n Candidates with a mechanical background and welding experience are desirable \n Courteous with customers \n Knowledge of cement, the construction industry and integrated computer systems an asset \n Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
