Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1 years
Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required.

considered. This full-time teaching opportunity is available for a
certified Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing to work within a
K-12 school district located in the Franklin area near Nashville,
TN. The position is a contract role running from January through
May, serving students across various grade levels with hearing
impairments. Key Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction
to students who are deaf or hard of hearing, supporting their
academic and communication development. Collaborate with education
teams and families to develop Individualized Education Programs
(IEPs). Utilize appropriate teaching strategies and assistive
technologies tailored to the needs of each student. Monitor student
progress and adjust instructional methods accordingly.
Qualifications: Valid Tennessee teaching license with a Deaf / Hard
of Hearing endorsement is required. Experience working with K-12
students who are deaf or hard of hearing preferred. Strong
communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to
adapt teaching methods to diverse learner needs. Job Details:
Location: On-site in the Franklin area near Nashville, TN.
Duration: January through May (contract). Hours: Full-time.
