School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school
district in Columbus, Indiana, is seeking a licensed School
Psychologist to provide crucial support for special education
evaluations across three school buildings. This contract position
offers the opportunity to work onsite in a Monday through Friday
schedule, from 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM, starting as soon as possible and
continuing through May 21, 2026, with the potential for the next
school year. Key Responsibilities: Conduct approximately 70
psychoeducational evaluations annually to determine student
eligibility for special education services. Collaborate with
educational staff and families to address diverse student needs.
Ensure compliance with all special education laws and district
policies. Participate actively in monthly team meetings to discuss
student progress and program effectiveness. Report directly to the
district supervisor and contribute to a multidisciplinary approach
to student support. Qualifications: Valid Indiana School
Psychologist license required. Experience conducting
psychoeducational assessments and eligibility determinations
strongly preferred. Deep understanding of special education law and
compliance standards. Excellent communication and collaboration
skills to effectively support students, families, and school teams.
