Pinnergy is a diversified energy services company with a broad and comprehensive service offering to customers throughout Texas and Louisiana, and is one of the largest independent oilfield service companies in its industry. Pinnergy has an immediate opening for a Diesel Mechanic at its Mansfield, LA location. Job duties and responsibilities:

• Adept at troubleshooting and diagnosing problems with mechanical equipment and possesses the ability to apply a resolution in a timely manner.
• Proficient at repairing, replacing, dismantling and inspecting defective equipment such as pumps, valves, hydraulic systems, diesel engines, transmissions, generators, general work-over and drilling auxiliary equipment.
• Coordinates purchasing with appropriate personnel and vendors in an effort to help achieve timely repair of equipment.
• Assists operations as needed.
• Competently operates and maintains facility equipment with minimal guidance or assistance as directed by and in coordination with the Field and Production Manager.
• Proficiently performs duties of a Mechanical Technician in the operation of the combined equipment.
• Maintains equipment by tightening fittings, replacing valve packing, gaskets, valves, and gauges.
• Cleaning, replacing, oiling and lubricating other component parts and equipment as required.
• As required, proficient in completely overhauling valves, pumps, compressors and other common equipment is essential.
• Preforms additional duties as assigned. Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • ASE certified a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
