The Job You Will Perform:
A Senior Mechanical Maintenance Execution Engineer's role is vital to improvement of equipment and processes reliability. This engineering role is the enhancement of traditional maintenance engineering with a portion of process engineering to eliminate equipment and system failures. Execution Engineers need to have a passion for executing precision work in the field and for continuous improvement. Execution engineers need to interact with all the parts of the organization. They must work hand in hand with craftsman and operators while being able to communicate effectively with supplier's sales engineers and technology support. They will work closely with operating and maintenance leaders to support high priority objectives in the area.
Responsibilities:


  • Eliminate unscheduled downtime


  • Perform root cause failure analysis (RCFA) on reliability incidents to identify and correct physical, human, and latent root causes.


  • Resolve Chronic equipment issues.


  • Support manufacturing work system (MWS) teams by analyzing work notifications to ensure the right jobs are worked at the right time and assisting with the planning of complex work orders to achieve reliability targets.


  • Support execution and verification of precision maintenance practice in the field.


  • Assist with capital projects to ensure design for reliability.


  • Conduct FMEAs on equipment


  • Lead reliability capital improvements.


    A Reliability Engineer will be accountable for:


  • Working safely in an industrial environment


  • Eliminating unscheduled maintenance downtime


  • Developing sustainable engineering and system solutions using RCFA or other structured problem-solving techniques to resolve chronic problems


  • Leading step change improvements in key focus areas critical to the mill's success


  • Concentrating maintenance execution efforts on work that achieves reliability targets and prolongs the economic life of plant assets


    The Skills You Will Bring:
    A bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience preferred.
