Chevron is accepting online applications for the Facilities
Engineer position through May 30th, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. (CDT).
This position will be responsible for all necessary project
management (including planning/design, cost estimating,
construction work package development, schedules, cost control,
etc.) and execution to support the continuous drilling program.
The Facility Engineer is responsible for building all new
infrastructure including roads, well pads, facilities pads, frac
ponds, pipelines and flowlines as part of the overall Haynesville
Development Program. This posting is targeting civil engineering
for pad construction, but pipeline experience is beneficial.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited
to:
Develop scope of work, estimate cost, and develop construction work
packages for scopes of work.
Follow MCBU and Local standards during execution of projects on
civil design and execution
Manage civil engineering deliverables from engineering
contractor.
Support construction organization in safe and efficient execution
of work through collaborative planning and development of work
scopes, and timely response to technical queries.
Develop MOCs to align on and document changes in engineering
plans.
Support early pad siting and pipeline routing efforts, including
interface with HSE, Land, Operations, and Asset Development teams.
Multiple iterations will be required for each pad.
Communicate to Asset Development and FE teams work scope and
timelines for projects
Complete red-lines and document closeout to System of Record per BU
Processes
Manage cost and schedule of projects and report out to interested
parties
Manage well pad reclamation after frac where required.
Required Qualifications:
BS Civil Engineering or facilities engineering discipline
5+ years of relevant civil engineering experience in an oil and gas
environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated engineering competency in pipeline design and project
management. Candidates may be considered to also support infield
pipeline construction along with civil construction.
Demonstrated experience working with cross functional teams to
identify and resolve geotechnical and construction technical
queries and RFI's. Prompt problem solving will be key in supporting
dynamic project execution.
Knowledge and experience in civil engineering package development,
cost and schedule estimating, and construction work pack
development
Knowledge and experience in management of change (MOC),
Pre-Start-up Safety Review (PSSR), Process Safety Information
(PSI), and Process Safety management (PSM).
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multiple
stakeholders across various workgroups, locations & effectively
align and drive outcomes. Fluency in Shale and Tight Factory
development preferred.
