- US - United States of America The Data Governance Analyst will
work closely with our Global Data Managers in pursuit of CBRE
Investment Managements ambition to achieve and maintain a baseline
level of data quality. By partnering with stakeholders across our
firm, the Data Governance Analyst will develop a deep understanding
of our current business practices with respect to data generation.
The Data Governance Analyst will learn to execute data quality
testing and provide clear reporting to support continuous
improvement. The Data Governance Analyst will actively drive for
data cultural adoption, challenging the status quo, as our team
intersects competencies in technical, operational and functional
domains. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Drive for continues
improvement of Data Quality Assist in the oversight and execution
of our end-to-end data quality process Measure data completeness,
accuracy, timeliness, and relevancy Assist in the organization of
data remediation processes Define, create, and maintain Data
Quality Rules Act as resource for data owners seeking counsel on
data quality alerts & reports Create and maintain reference guides
to detail proper procedures and data quality rules Research and
document data entry & maintenance procedures as described by
business partners Apply critical thinking skills to identify data
procedures that can be globally or regionally aligned Research and
analyze data processes with end goals of o Identifying disregarded
procedural rules that result in stale, duplicated, or inaccurate
data o Identifying patterns and trends in data to make tangible
business proposals CBREIM Desired Education & Experience BS in a
STEM discipline Experience in financial services, investment
management, or real estate related experience desired Skills
Required Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze
complex data, business processes, and information flow needs o Able
to document process steps, inputs, outputs, requirements, identify
gaps, and improve workflow Organized, structured, methodical
Embraces agile project management and understands requirements
gathering, testing, and validation techniques Self-starter &
effective at prioritization, and time and project management
Knowledge of tools to query and manipulate data including SQL,
Power query & Power BI, advanced Excel Ability to work effectively
across a matrixed organization, and with various stakeholders and
partners Strong communication skills o Ability to effectively
communicate to technical and non-technical audiences o Effective at
presenting findings, data, and conclusions Positive attitude with
