Come join in on our purpose - We put people to work, we protect American freedoms, and we help our customers power and improve the world! https://dayzim.com We're looking for a full-time, staff Senior Director, Business Development to join our Day & Zimmermann team located in Texarkana, TX or Parsons, Kansas - Remote As the Position Title, here's the work you'll do:

  • Manage and optimize the application of Business Unit engagement in the Munitions Marketplace. Act as DZMG focal point for U.S. customer(s)
  • Lead and/or Support Capture Teams for major program pursuits
  • Coordinate all related DOTC, C4C and CAPS requirements
  • Provide customer expertise to DZMG leadership in decision making process
  • Provide strategic planning support for related activities This role is for you if you have these skills:
    • Strong background in DoD Munitions and Defense Services
    • Familiarity with International Contracting requirements (ITAR, FMS, FMF, Representatives, etc.)
    • Ability to travel - both domestic and internationally
    • Able to build Strategic Client Relationships - both domestically and internationally
    • Business/Financial Acumen- Knowledge of how the business works including drivers of cost and revenue; able to understand and work with key financial measurements to analyze business opportunities; knows the marketplace and understands how business strategies and tactics impact marketplace perception And if you have these qualifications:
      • Ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance (Secret level or higher)
      • Experience in Government or Military with at least 5 years in a senior role

        • Ability to wear a mask, respirator, bullet proof vest, or other equipment.
        • Ability to regularly perform all job functions at Company's office or worksite.
        • Ability to withstand environmental conditions (e.g. extreme heat or cold, grass, wind, sand, fumes, odors, gases, extreme noise, etc.)
