Job Title: Air Operations Center (AOC) Configuration Manager Work Location: 608th Air Operations Center, Barksdale AFB, LA Clearance: Active Current TS+ Education: Bachelor''s degree or equivalent knowledge of Air Force C4I systems Experience: 5+ Certification: Configuration Management II course or ANSI EIA 649 certification Schedule: Monday - Friday day shift Travel: Occasional (CONUS OCONUS) Salary: Commensurate with experience Job Listing Number: 22-013/LA22006 LCAT: Configuration Manager Overview: S4 Inc. employees selected for this position will be supporting the 608th Air Operations Center (AOC) at Barksdale AFB, Louisiana. You will be providing Advisory and Assistance Services to support AOC operators, technicians, and subject matter experts to enhance AOC global strike and global Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) operations. You will be creating and updating network diagrams supporting Information Assurance, Configuration Management, and government documentation requirements; perform and maintain change control, configuration management, and associated documentation; and provide lessons learned and best practices for Configuration Management. Specific Duties: In this position you will be responsible for: * Coordinate C4I System Requirements with the AOC Divisions, Cells, and Teams * Work with the Common Operational Picture (COP) manager to design, execute, and manage the AOC COP architecture * Direct, perform and coordinate AOC WS end-to-end validation test prior to and during exercises and operations * Ensure receipt of information and proper data exchange from other C4I system equipment into the AOC weapon system * Submit validated C4I requirements to the Chief, AOC Communications Team (ACT) * Submit user account information to the System Administrator * Validate and prioritize C4I system software problem reports, baseline change requests, and documentation change requests * Ensure receipt of information and proper data exchange from other C4I system equipment in the AOC weapon system * Ensure systems and versions compatibility with sister and coalition forces * Establish system access and password issuance processes * Establish and modify AOC WS profiles and permissions to meet AOC Divisions, Cell, Team requirements * Ensure proper levels of security are maintained for approximately 150-250 personnel daily * Develop, maintain, and coordinate AOC WS system downtime and upgrades and timelines * Assist in C4I architecture development at the AOC level * Oversee the AOC Operations Floor organization and equipment placement * Coordinate with AOC Division Chiefs and CSTs to determine backup processes and timelines * Participate in AOC WS Development and Operational Tests * Conduct CM audits and physical inventories Skills: Ability to work both independently and in a team environment with clients and vendors, demonstrated technical leadership skills, good verbal, and written communication skills. Have a solid understanding of the design of complex databases (e.g., schema and subschema details) so limitations/deficiencies can be identified. Qualifications: * Active current Top Secret+ security clearance * Have previously been certified as mission ready in an AOC or individually possess at least two years of experience working with an AOC WS and familiar with Department of the Air Force Manual 13-1, Vol 3 * Completion of a Configuration Management II course or American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Electronic Industries Alliance (EIA) 649 certification * Five years of experience participating in AOC exercises or operations as a C4I Systems Manager or Deputy Systems Manager * Five years of experience supporting AOC operations within classified environments to include SIPRNET and JWICS * Familiar with SharePoint or SharePoint certified in at least one of the following: site collection design, governance, Infrastructure and Architecture, visualization, dashboards, timelines, custom solutions, SharePoint Designer, database management, Cascading Style Sheets and HTML, enterprise search and analytics, InfoPath, workflows, and business process automation, excel services, SharePoint accounts, document/record center and Key Performance Indicators * Completion of a formal AOC field training unit course (desired) * Air Staff, MAJCOM, Numbered Air Force, or COCOM staff experience (desired) To apply to this position please go to and click on Careers to complete and an employment application and to upload your resume.
