Job Description Position: Quality Control Manager Location: Texarkana, AR Industry: Manufacturing Type of Position: Direct Permanent Placement Salary and Benefits: $75-95,000, 7.5% yearly bonus, great benefits package, and relocation package Apply Now: Heather.Buster@ExpressPros.com The Role: Seeking to hire a Quality Control Manager to join their Product Engineering team in Texarkana, Arkansas. The Quality Control Manager will oversee all aspects of quality and manages quality personnel. Tracks quality trends and assists manufacturing with quality improvements. Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:Manages the RMA process and customer returns.Works with product engineering to design products with less potential for defects.Tracks quality problems utilizing problem detail reports. Oversees and maintains problem detail reports.Creates monthly quality reports explaining quality trends including PPM calculations.Provides technical assistance to Marketing, Field Sales, and Customer Service.Capable of utilizing and correctly selecting measurement devices from tape measure to Coordinate Measuring machines.Coordinates returned product testing with Test EngineerPerforms dimensional and material analysis on competitive products.Manages corporate quality development initiatives.Works with Procurement on supplier development, first article evaluations, and corrective actions.Participates in new product development process.Carry out special assignments as required by Director of Engineering.
