A Dialysis Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care at
one of DCI's in-center hemodialysis units as part of a patient care
team. Our RNs are integral in ensuring safe care and the highest
quality outcomes are prioritized for every patient.
Schedule: Part-time, 30 hours/week; Sundays off; no overnight
shifts
Compensation: Pay depending on nursing and dialysis experience

Responsibilities
What You Can Expect:
* Prepare dialysis machine, its alarms, and treatment supplies and
ensure quality standards are met
* Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and
procedures
* Ongoing patient education, training and health coaching
* Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating
changes with physician and families
* Administer and chart all prescribed medications
* Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations
* Participate in patient care conferences, rounds and chart
reviews
* Document required patient education efforts
* Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals
* Assist in medication inventory maintenance
* Lead a small patient care team
* Contribute to onboarding new staff members as directed
* Additional tasks as requested
Qualifications

Education/Training:
* Accredited nursing degree required
* Dialysis experience not required, job shadow opportunities
available
* DCI provides 3-months of comprehensive training, including
classroom group sessions and one-on-one skills training
