Cardiology (Heart Failure) opening in Louisiana Located in Shreveport, LA Full-Time & Permanent Seeking a BE/BC Cardiologist with an Advanced Heart Failure Fellowship training to join hospital. - Must have interest in leading the emerging LVAD program (the organization does not plan to start a heart transplant program), and be a patient centered team player with excellent communication skills. - Practice would include the full spectrum of Advanced Heart Failure Cardiology - Strong referral patterns from over 20 hospital employed Cardiologists - Dedicated Advanced Practice Provider assistance - An attractive call schedule - Opportunity to teach Internal Medicine Residents - The busiest Cardiovascular program in the region with technology including ECMO, Impella, TandemHeart - Competitive compensation and great benefits Location: Founded in 1836, Shreveport is located along the west bank of the Red River in northwest Louisiana and is the educational, commercial, and cultural center of the Ark-La-Tex region where these three states meet.
