Job Description:

A company is looking for a Certified Coder - Orthopedic Surgery.

Key Responsibilities:

Review medical record documentation to determine appropriate billing codes and necessary documentation
Code evaluation and management to appropriate CPT code and diagnosis to appropriate ICD-9 code
Meet with physicians to review documentation, resolve coding, and secure signatures

Required Qualifications:

Must have one of the specified coding credentials from AHIMA or AAPC
No specific work experience required
Education: Certifications in medical coding and billing
Preferred knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding
