Job Description Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN Pediatric CVOR for a travel nursing job in Nashville, Tennessee. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Pediatric CVOR Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Travel RN – CVOR – 10H Days Start Date: 11/24/2025 Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: 4x10 Days (0630–1700), rotational weekdays Call: Rotational weekend call every 6 weeks (Saturday 0630 through Monday 0630) Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Setting: Level I Trauma, Pediatric CVOR Beds: 300-bed hospital, 16 OR suites Position Overview Seeking an experienced CVOR RN to support a busy pediatric cardiovascular operating room within a high-acuity, Level I trauma setting. The RN will assist with perioperative services, circulating, and provide care for pediatric surgical patients across multiple specialties. Schedule Details 4x10-hour shifts (0630–1700), days vary based on unit needs No block scheduling available Weekend call rotation every 6 weeks May stay late to complete cases as needed Orientation held weekly on Mondays Requirements Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience Minimum 2 years of pediatric experience (required) Prior travel experience required Circulating experience required Experience in a Level I trauma hospital or similar setting BLS and PALS required Must be fully COVID vaccinated or have a valid exemption by start date (no exceptions) Patient Population & Case Types Ages 0–18 (occasional adult cases possible) Surgical cases include eyes (cataracts, retina, vitrectomies), general, ortho, neuro, ENT, urology, plastics, and burns Will float to other OR services as needed (except cardiac and GI) Scrubs provided by hospital linen services Notes Locals accepted at lower rate(within 75 miles) Guaranteed 80 hours biweekly for 10-hour shift schedules Additional Information IVS to interview / Manager to offer May float within clinical competency to other areas if needed Quick Offers.\n \nReferral bonus available.
