Midtown Hospital Employment: Full-Time | 7 nights on / 14 nights
off Opportunity: Private Practice, Inpatient Board Certifications:
NP-C/PA-C Ideal Candidate: Prior experience practicing as an NP or
PA required Hospitalist experience required, with ability to manage
complex inpatient cases Hematology/Oncology experience strongly
preferred Skilled in clinical assessment, acute care management,
and patient stabilization Ability to work independently while
maintaining strong collaboration with physicians, APPs, RNs, and
hospital staff About the Role: Tennessee Oncology is seeking an
Hematology/Oncology Advanced Practice Provider to provide night
coverage at the Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown Blood Cancer
inpatient unit in Nashville, TN. In this role, you will receive
handoff from the daytime APP team for continuity of care, support
inpatient RNs, admit after-hours patients with the assistance of
the hospitalist team, and monitor labs throughout the night to
ensure patient stability until the daytime team resumes care. You
will care for hospitalized patients with hematologic and oncologic
diagnoses, addressing complications of their malignancy, treatment
side effects, palliative care needs, and chemotherapy
administration. The role is part of Tennessee Oncology’s flagship
Hematologic Malignancy program, which is actively expanding to meet
increased patient volume and incorporate advanced therapies,
including clinical trials, CAR-T therapy, and bispecific
antibodies. This position follows a 7 nights on / 14 nights off
schedule, offering an excellent work-life balance. On off weeks,
the APP will provide occasional PTO coverage for other night APPs
and may support daytime APPs as needed. Known as “Music City,”
