responsible for managing the physician and provider recruitment
cycle from start to finish; developing, maintaining, and expanding
business relationships with Amsurg Practice Partners, and Amsurg
Operations Leadership Team in their assigned markets. This includes
analyzing physician volume as it relates to practice need then
consulting/assisting in the development/review of a practice
strategic recruitment plan in order to recommend appropriate
recruitment and alignment strategies to Amsurg Practice Partners as
well as to Operations Leadership Team. Communication with all key
stakeholders is essential for recruiting physicians in the targeted
markets to which the Senior Physician Recruiter is assigned. This
ensures recruitment strategies remain aligned with their respective
business/strategic plans while identifying, developing, and
implementing sourcing strategies. This position will play an
integral role to ensure all aspects of the recruitment hiring
process are followed from start to finish understanding that
working with a sense of urgency is a key to success. In addition,
the Senior Physician Recruiter will be responsible to provide
routine updates of all candidate and practice activity with full
transparency as defined by the Director of Physician Recruitment.
Work Schedule: REMOTE ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Effectively
profile and consult Practice upon assignment of new practice
opportunity, following the Amsurg recruitment process, to determine
the potential for successful recruitment. Maintain working
knowledge of assigned Practice markets including but not limited to
the current practice opportunity, up-to-date practice statistics
(i.e. of partners and practice shares, call ratio, weekly/monthly
patient volume, etc.), current service area demographics, area
competitors, length of time to obtain state licensure. Assure that
physician compensation plans are market competitive through
referencing various resources such as MGMA, AGMA, and Sullivan
Cotter guidelines in addition to maintaining current knowledge of
national and regional compensation trends for various physician
specialties and its respective pay practices/compensation options.
Knowledge of recruitment terminology, specialty terminology and
abbreviations. Sources candidates using standard and creative
strategies and manages all prospective physician and provider
recruits from beginning-to-hire. Primary sourcing responsibilities
will be contacting developed and undeveloped leads through cold
calling and emailing. Amount of cold calls required will be
determined by Director of Physician Recruitment from time to time.
Maintains accurate job descriptions and ad promotions for all
assigned vacancies. Follows and provides input of defined processes
for candidate throughput. Strives to network and connect with all
relevant specialty associations, physician recruiting resources,
and residency/fellowship programs for lead generation purposes.
Will actively discuss open vacancies with prospective candidates
with accuracy and mission of exceptional customer service.
Participates in and manages an interview with a prospective
candidate on site at the practice location as needed. Provides
recommendations on sourcing, interviewing contract closing
strategies. Negotiates and supports negotiations with prospective
candidates as necessary. Provides prompt follow up and
communication to all key stakeholders during contract negotiation
phase of process Works under the defined recruitment budget
allocated to each vacancy and as defined by Director of Physician
Recruitment. Ensures 100% compliance with all candidate data entry
into current proprietary database. Updates job knowledge by
participating in educational opportunities, reading professional
publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in
professional organizations. Other duties as assigned. Reads and

mandates, including participation in mandatory training programs
Reports any real or suspected violation of the corporate compliance
program, company policies and procedures, harassment or other
prohibited activities in accordance with the reporting policies of

may use the resources available through the Compliance, Human
Resources or Legal Department to do so QUALIFICATIONS: To perform
this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each
essential responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed

required. Knowledge and Skills: Microsoft Office Suite
Recruitment/Applicant Tracking Systems; preferably Bullhorn
Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree from four-year College or
University and 7 or more years of related experience; or 20 years
of non-clinical recruiting or an equivalent combination of
education and experience Other Qualifications: Proficient in
understanding the day to day work of the medical specialties and
physician practices that Amsurg represents. Proficient in the local
and regional communities where Amsurg owns and/or manages
practices. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a
high-pressure environment Experience working both independently and
in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Strong interpersonal
and account management/project management skills. Ability to make
decisions in a rapidly growing, professional, service oriented
