more about AMSURG, visit www POSITION SUMMARY: The role of the IT
Project Manager I (PM) is responsible for managing one or more
multiple Information Technology driven projects within the AMSURG
IT Department. The PM will be responsible for managing executive
stakeholders, key project teams and drive projects to successful
completion and transition to operations. The PM will manage
projects from inception (discovery, strategy and planning) through
successful completion (execution, transition and closeout). Work
Schedule: REMOTE ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the
initiation, coordination, and completion of multiple, parallel
projects across business areas and departments. Builds and
maintains strong relationships with team members, vendors, and
other departments involved in the projects. Owns stakeholder
management; responsible for setting customer expectations and
leading efforts to sustain customer Facilitates the definition of
project scope, objectives, and success metrics in collaboration
with senior management, involving all relevant Documents high level
current-state and target-state process and environment to
facilitate common understanding for all Develops and presents
full-scale project plans and associated communications documents;
manages, monitors, and tracks progress throughout the Facilitates
the estimation and allocation of resources and participants needed
to achieve project Assigns responsibilities, monitors and
summarizes progress of Identifies and resolves issues and conflicts
within the project team; escalates issues to the appropriate level
in order to achieve resolution when Communicates in written and
oral forums effectively at all levels including executive,
management, line leadership and individual Identifies and manages
project dependencies and critical Proactively manages changes in
project scope and manages change control, identifies potential
crises, devises and leads execution of contingency Develops,
facilitates and delivers comprehensive project documentation
including: progress reports, proposals, requirements, and
presentations for team and for executive Facilitates the definition
of project success criteria and disseminates them to involved
parties throughout project life cycle. Uses project delivery
metrics to measure and improve team Conducts project post mortems
and drives continuous improvement Develops best practices and tools
for project execution and Leads efforts to standardize practices
and consolidate tracking methods across all projects and provides
meaningful contribution to the IT Project Management Office. Works
in concert with project management techniques and IT for technology
actions respectively to achieve ultimate project Educates project
team members in project management Other duties as assigned. Reads

Reports any real or suspected violation of the corporate compliance

may use the resources available through the Compliance, Human
Resources or Legal Department to do so. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform
this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each

written and oral communication skills Adept at conducting research
into project-related issues and products Ability to effectively
prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Must
provide own insured transportation to and from work as well as to
other outside locations based on job needs Education/Experience:
0-2 years project management experience in an enterprise
environment 0-2 years of prior experience in a healthcare setting
strongly preferred. Bachelor's degree from four-year College or
University PMI Project Management Professional Certification or
