Job Description Job Description Position Summary The Nursing
Home Administrator (NHA) is responsible for the overall leadership,
operations, and financial performance of a skilled nursing facility
in the Tampa, FL area. This role ensures compliance with all
federal, state, and local regulations while promoting high-quality
resident care, staff engagement, and operational excellence. Key
Responsibilities Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of
facility operations Ensure compliance with CMS, Tennessee
Department of Health, and all regulatory requirements Maintain
readiness for state and federal surveys; lead plans of correction
as needed Oversee financial performance including budgeting, census
management, and cost controls Lead, mentor, and develop department
heads and management team Foster a culture focused on
resident-centered care, quality outcomes, and staff retention
Collaborate with clinical leadership to support quality measures,
infection control, and risk management Build and maintain strong
relationships with residents, families, physicians, hospitals, and
community partners Drive census growth through strategic marketing
and referral relationships Ensure policies, procedures, and
operational standards are followed consistently Qualifications
Current Florida Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license (required)
Minimum 2–5 years of Administrator experience in a skilled nursing
facility preferred Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, survey
process, and QAPI Proven leadership, operational, and financial
management skills Experience managing Medicare and Medicaid census
strongly preferred Excellent communication, organizational, and
