A certified Primary Stroke Center and an accredited Chest Pain Center, the hospital is a member of CHRISTUS Health System, which has been recognized as one of the top 10 Catholic healthcare systems in the United States and internationally. Good Shepherd Medical Center (GSMC) encompasses four hospitals and a multitude of clinics in the greater east Texas area.
