Registered Nurse (RN) | Neuro ICU Location: Tyler, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,710 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: Neuro ICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Neuro ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: 2 years preferred in Neuro ICU License: Valid nursing license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Neuro ICU experience required Description: Neuro ICU experience is required. Shift is 3x12 hour nights. A minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred. The unit does not accept first-time travelers. Charting is done using Epic. Patient ratio is 1:2. Certifications needed include ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. Previous charge experience is preferred. Experience with patient ratios of 2 is required. Candidates should have travel experience. Community hospital experience is preferred. Preferred experience includes Trauma Level I and Trauma Level II. Skills required include management of dysrhythmias, blood product administration, central line care/management, CVA/acute stroke management, external ventricular drain management, ICP monitoring, and care of ventilated patients. The unit provides interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacies, and rapid response teams. The daily census is typically 14 patients with a total of 16 beds. The patient demographic includes adults. Modules to be completed onsite during orientation are non-billable.
