Dietitian Nutritionist for a travel job in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: RDN - Registered
Dietitian Nutritionist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional -
Start Date: 04/13/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week -
Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Preferred Education
Required - Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or
related field Preferred Work Experience Preferred - 2 year clinical
work experience with knowledge of normal and therapeutic nutrition,
nutrition screening and support principles, and modified diets
Preferred Certifications Required - Registered Dietitian status
with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) with the Academy
of Nutrition and Dietetics Current licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist
status with LBEDN Minimum Certification Applicant must meet the
examination eligibility requirements to become a Registered
Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) with
the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics AND must be provisionally
licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist with LBEDN. Upon hire, Employee
must successfully pass the registration exam and become licensed
within 12 months of hire date. Minimum Education Required -
Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or related field
Minimum Work Experience Preferred - 1 year clinical work experience
with knowledge of normal and therapeutic nutrition, nutrition
screening and support principles, and modified diets Knowledge
Skills and Abilities (KSAs) - Must have computer skills and
dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information. -
Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability
to present information clearly and professionally. - Must be
proficient with Windows-style applications, various software
packages specific to role and keyboard. - Strong interpersonal
skills. - Strong personal commitment to professional development
and maintaining clinical services that are evidence based. -
Excellent analytical skills to assess nutritional status and
develop appropriate care plans based on problems identified. -
Excellent 0rganizational and prioritization skills to meet frequent
deadlines. - Must be able to travel throughout and between
