Lifeteam, a leader in emergency medical services, is seeking a dedicated AEL Helicopter Pilot to join our team. This role is crucial in piloting emergency medical service (EMS) helicopters, facilitating rapid response to medical emergencies and transporting patients to medical facilities. As a pilot at Lifeteam, you will operate aircraft with advanced medical equipment, ensuring quick and safe transport, and work closely with medical personnel to optimize patient care during flights. The right candidate will not only possess significant piloting skills but also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient safety and healthcare. Pilot EMS helicopters as part of scheduled rotations and emergency calls. Ensure all operations comply with federal aviation regulations and safety standards. Coordinate with healthcare professionals to facilitate effective patient care during air transport. Maintain flight logs and conduct pre-flight checks to ensure operational integrity. Participate in ongoing training and emergency drills. Assist in the maintenance and readiness checks of medical and flight equipment on board. Proficient in navigation and operation of rotary aircraft under varying conditions. Strong communication and coordination skills to sync with ground and medical teams. Ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure environments.
