Job Description Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Carthage, Texas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Physical Therapy Assistant - Discipline: Therapy - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours - Employment Type: Travel Make a real difference as a travel PTA working in a skilled nursing facility in Carthage, TX. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Apply today and a recruiter will follow up with the details. /n /n Minimum Qualifications /n - Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program. - Active Texas PTA license required to start the assignment. - BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. - Experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care environment preferred. - Client requires demonstrated competency with therapeutic exercise, gait training, transfers, and assistive device training. - Previous experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and documenting per facility standards preferred. /n /n Assignment Details /n - Facility type: Skilled Nursing Facility. /n /n Location Highlights /n Carthage, TX offers easy access to outdoor recreation and small-town amenities.
