Job Description Job Description Kitchen Manager Central Ohio Job Description: Kitchen Manager Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee all kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in kitchen management, a commitment to delivering exceptional food quality, and the ability to inspire and motivate a team in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff to ensure a cohesive and efficient team. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages growth and creativity. Schedule and manage kitchen staff to ensure proper coverage during all shifts. Culinary Excellence: Maintain high standards for food preparation, presentation, and quality. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and refine menu items. Ensure all recipes and portion controls are followed consistently. Operational Efficiency: Oversee daily kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering, and food cost control. Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness. Implement and enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with local and state guidelines. Financial Management: Manage food and labor costs to meet budgetary goals. Analyze kitchen performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement. Work closely with management to develop strategies for increasing profitability. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager in a high-volume kitchen. Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety standards, and culinary techniques. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Proficiency in inventory management and cost control.
