Responsibilities
Brentwood Hospital is looking for a dynamic Executive Assistant! If

they leave this environment. The Executive Assistant provides high
level administrative support to the CEO by conducting research,
overseeing specific assigned projects, preparing statistical
reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical
functions such as preparing correspondence, arranging conference
calls, and scheduling meetings. The Executive Assistant also
provides administrative support to the CEO and CFO by performing
executive assistant duties; by exercising discretionary judgment in
the performance of duties and responsibilities and other activities
of the position, and by maintaining professional and personal
educational growth and development. Work ranges from standardized
office support assignments to performance of administrative duties
involving decision making and judgment. Public contact is a major
component of position, both internal and external to the
organization. Work requires contact with staff, managers of other
facilities/units within the organization, representatives of other
state agencies/universities, clients/referral sources,
elected/appointed representatives and the public. Also responsible
for assisting CEO and CFO in the process of negotiating managed
care contracts for Brentwood Hospital. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Exercises discretionary judgment in the performance of duties
and responsibilities and other activities of the position
- Ability to work relatively independently is assumed
- Performs a wide variety of assignments with moderate to high
level of independent judgment
- Prioritizes work accurately
- Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with
executives, staff and public, often dealing with professionals of
the highest level
- Answers telephone promptly and courteously, screening calls,
taking messages, transferring calls to the appropriate persons, and
providing general information, as needed
- Coordinates communications between facilities and the CEO
- Carries out written and verbal correspondence, as needed
- Prepares and circulates memorandums, notices, and meeting
minutes, as requested
- Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with
executives, staff, and public, often dealing with professionals of
the highest levels inside and outside of the hospital
- Performs administrative support duties
- Knows the basic philosophy, purposes, of the company
- Makes appointments, and maintains calendar for the CEO
- Preparing presentations, documentation and spreadsheets
- Arranges travel reservations, accommodations for the CEO
- Ensures expedient phone contact with parties, as needed and
appropriate
- Prepare and reconcile expense reports

Qualifications
- Education / Experience: Two year business degree or equivalent
combined education and experience.
