Job Description Job Description Quality Assurance Manager Automation Personnel Services is looking for Quality Assurance Manager for a major beverage manufacturer based in Nashville, TN. You will be able to uncap your potential with the largest beverage company in the world that has been in business for over 125 years! In this position, you will lead and develop assigned quality personnel and provide guidance for cross-functional teams to support the quality and food safety requirements of the products. Pay Rate $25.00 to $28.00 per hour depending on experience Schedule and Hours Monday to Friday plus some weekends 1st Shift 3 30AM to 12 30PM, with every third week requiring Sunday through Thursday coverage Quality Assurance Manager Duties and Responsibilities • Supervise, lead, and motivate a team on the manufacturing floor and QA Lab to deliver results by communicating company goals, including quality and customer satisfaction, safety practices, and deadlines • Engage and develop teammates through effective performance management, coaching, and training • Implement continuous improvement methods while maintaining customer focus, and embody company purpose and values to inspire servant leadership • Manage and support the Consolidated Management System (CMS) program that ensures company quality assurance specifications, and regulatory requirements are met; understand and support the documentation, training, and organizational requirements for maintaining a globally recognized quality and food safety certification; serve as the program owner, and perform internal audits of the program elements • Manage the processing of laboratory data, monitor the data for accuracy through exception reporting, analyze the data, recognize unfavorable trends, and make process improvement recommendations • Moving product to correct area in warehouse • Support and assist in audits from internal and external regulatory, certification, customer, and or brand owner sources Quality Assurance Manager Qualifications and Requirements • Manufacturing experience and Food Industry knowledge (1-3 years) • Associate’s degree or up to 3 years of field (Biology, Chemistry, Food Science, Health Sciences) • Math and analytical skills and problem-solving ability • Computer skills including MS Office, statistical software, SAP, Kronos preferred • Knowledge of sanitation and beverage processes • Familiar with High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Gas Chromatography (GC) Technology • Familiarity with lab equipment and testing within a manufacturing environment • Knowledge of microbial and aseptic techniques • Ability to multitask in team development, time management, and effective communication skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment with seasonal temperatures, flexible shifts, and weekend and holiday work based on business needs Job Type Full-time, temporary to hire Benefits • Weekly Pay • Medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance • 40 Hours Service Bonus after 1 year of continuous service and 1500 hours • 6 paid Holidays after 1 year of continuous service and 1500 hours 401(k) Retirement Plan Automation Personnel Services is the only staffing agency specializing in manufacturing and industrial roles that offers 401K matching to all eligible contingent and temporary associates.
