Job Description Job Description Job Opening: Part-Time Recreation Assistant The City of Nacogdoches is hiring a Part-Time Recreation Assistant to help support our recreational activities. This position involves routine clerical, maintenance, customer service and recreational tasks. The assistant will manage gymnasiums and outdoor athletic facilities, supporting officials for youth and adult sports like basketball, volleyball, soccer and futsal. Key Functions: Communicate effectively with the public and city employees. Register participants and provide program information. Open close and enforce rules at the facility. Set up and inspect equipment for activities and events. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of recreational supplies and the center. Requirements: High school diploma/GED (experience in recreational activities preferred). Knowledge of sports such as soccer, volleyball and basketball is a plus. Must have a valid driver license.
