Job Description Job Description Job Title: General Laborer Job Description We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer to join a team renowned for manufacturing re-bar, structural beams, and staircase railings. The role involves assisting welders in assembling plenums made from sheet metal, which are used in towers within data centers to transfer heat from units out of the roof. This position requires the use of basic hand tools and drills to ensure accurate assembly. Responsibilities Assist welders in assembling plenums using hand tools and power tools. Use basic hand tools and drills for precise assembly. Follow blueprints and production guidelines. Ensure quality and accuracy in manufacturing processes. Essential Skills Mechanically inclined. Ability to stand, sit, and crouch for extended periods. Experience with hand tools and power tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with sheet metal roofing and siding. Familiarity with assembly, carpentry, and woodworking. Knowledge of HVAC systems and duct work. Experience in fabrication and framing. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work is currently conducted outdoors in the yard until a permanent space is secured for this new contract. The role involves working 10-12 hour shifts from Monday to Friday, with an attempt to avoid Saturday work. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Gahanna, OH.
