Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1 years
Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required.

considered. An opportunity is available for a qualified Teacher of
the Deaf/Hard of Hearing to support a 5th-grade caseload at an
elementary school in Columbus, OH. This full-semester contract
position requires onsite presence with limited hours, focusing on
delivering specialized instructional services tailored to students
with hearing impairments. Key Responsibilities: Provide
individualized and group instruction to 5th-grade students who are
Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Develop and implement educational plans
aligned with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, families, and related
service providers to support student learning and inclusion.
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation of
services provided. Utilize assistive technology and communication
strategies appropriate for DHH learners. Qualifications: Valid Ohio
Educator license with Hearing Impaired endorsement is mandatory
(license must be current and verifiable). Experience working with
Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in an educational setting. Strong
understanding of DHH instructional strategies and relevant
accommodations. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Position Details: Location: Columbus, OH (Elementary school
setting). Duration: Full semester contract. Hours: Part-time
commitment (approximately 80 minutes monthly onsite). Start Date:
ASAP, with an anticipated end date of May 22, 2026. Candidates who
